Originally a Graffiti Artist, Tattoo Adam hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he started tattooing in 1994.
After a year and a half of apprenticeship, Adam launched his career at Accents In Ink, learning the fundamental aspects of tattoo work and developing his skill level. In 1997, Adam moved to Las Vegas, NV where he worked on the Las Vegas Strip tattooing at Diversity. There Adam enjoyed exposure to other artists and the experience of working in a busy tourist oriented shop, not to mention tattooing the celebrity clientele, thanks to which Adam can say he's tattooed the legendary Mike Tyson.
In 1999, Adam moved to Honolulu where he could escape the flashy routine in Las Vegas and focus on building his custom portfolio. He was one of the first artist's to help open Tattoolicious on McCully Blvd. There, he concentrated on his custom work until the shop integrated body art and hair styling. Tattoo Adam moved to Aloha Tattoo on Ala Moana Blvd. in 2002.
In May of 2004, he opened a private studio where he now does quality, custom tattoo work by appointment only and takes walk-ins 5 days a week. This cozy studio is sterile, Hawaii Health Department approved, and located in Waikiki at 434 Ena Road, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96815 .
Originaly from New York City , Lions has had the experience to tattoo along side with some of the greatest New York Hard Core legends and Grafitti Masters out of the East Coast . Lions prefers to draw all his designs onto your skin , making your tattoo very unique and original .Lions can be found 5 days aweek from 2 pm - 10 pm , Wed. - Sun .
Karl started in 434 as a shop helper in '07, moving up to apprentice in '08. Karl and Adam have worked very close over the past 6 years tattooing and collecting ink.
Karl also took a year hiatus from the Hawaiian islands to tattoo in other various shops located across the western hemisphere, including Canada, California and Arizona.
Apprenticing with Adam, Karl was taught the proper guidelines of cleanliness and sterilization under the procedures of the APT (Alliance of Professional Tattooists), which Karl will be joining in the very near future.
